Ansley Goddard
President & Transportation Chair

Ansley Goddard has lived on Lofton Road since 2019, and 2025 is her 5th year on the Loring Heights Board. She is typically walking her dogs around the neighborhood or playing with her toddler at the playground. Her background is in Transportation Planning and is currently chairing the transportation sub-committee. Ansley is excited to continue coordinating with regional partners like Atlanta DOT and the BeltLine to make Loring Heights even better for walkers and bikers!
David Touwsma
Vice-President & Security Chair

David Touwsma has been a proud resident of the neighborhood for 23 years. As the Vice President and Security Chair of the neighborhood board, he is dedicated to fostering a safe and connected community. David and his wife, Angel, are proud parents of three children and two furry companions. They are currently rebuilding and constructing their dream home in the perfect neighborhood to call home – Loring Heights obviously!
John Lindsey
Treasurer

After living in Loring Heights for 4 years, John Lindsey is set to bring his financial acumen and community spirit to the Loring Heights board as treasurer in 2025. John can often be found strolling neighborhood streets and parks with his wife Lexie and their two dogs, Petey and Murphy. Drawing from his experience on the neighborhood transportation sub-committee and professional background in finance, John is excited to take on a larger role in the neighborhood this year.
Alex Kosloski
Social Chair

Alex Kosloski has lived in Atlanta for 11 years and moved to Loring Heights 3 years ago (spending most of his time doing home renovations). He has served as social chair on the Loring Heights Board for the last year. By day he is a structural engineer, which is what brought him to Atlanta. Otherwise, you can find him at the movie theater seeing Oscar contenders or the latest horror flick.
John-Cole Garwick
Land Use Chair

John-Cole Garwick has been in Atlanta for 6 years, and has served on the Loring Heights Board since 2023. He can often be found pushing a stroller around the neighborhood, working on various projects around his house, or cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. In tandem with his work as Loring Heights’ Land Use Chair, John-Cole is also the neighborhood’s representative for NPU-E, which is responsible for making recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on zoning, land use and other planning-related matters.
Spencer Van Kirk
Parks Chair

Spencer Van Kirk has lived with his family in Loring Heights for 7 years. He joined the board in 2023 and serves as Parks chair, a position that is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of, and improvements to, Loring Heights Park, Tanyard Creek Greenspace, and the natural areas surrounding the Deering / Loring intersection.
Ron Grunwald
At-Large Board Member

Ron Grunwald has lived in Loring Heights for 22 years along with his wife Laura and son Asher (as well as poochies Max and Maggie). He has served various Board positions over most of that time and looks forward to a new role supporting various board members and board initiatives as an at large member.
